We don’t control them: we don’t invite them. They will just appear in our mind while we sleep. We always wonder…what they mean?  We all dream in our own minds and yours will always be different.  But, it is only a dream!  This is an area of great discoveries.  To tap this realm of our mind may be quite a challenge, but if we do, who’s to know what may be next?  Maybe it’s all… just a dream?

JADED DREAMS

My friend PASHCO and I (POV) took a needed road trip to South Beach.  While we are there I get arrested for running from the police.  The police handcuff me to a ramp by the ocean to be eaten by their pet shark.  Just as I am to be eaten I awake sweating next to my wife MARIA realizing it was all just a dream.  Or was it?  I notice my wrists dripping blood.  Maria gets angry with the mess.  Maria then demands a divorce.  I plead things will work out as she screams how I have just been a dreamer my whole life.  Maria shoots me with a gun laughing as she licks blood from my face and tells me goodbye.  I realize Maria is the shark that finally got me!  As I faded away Maria swam through the personals for a new catch.  Blood red eyes and teeth as sharp as nails Maria made the call.  Next chapter starts a different dream.

I (POV) work in an animal shelter.  Euthanasia is always the hardest part of my job.  Through my lifetime working here I continue to have dreams of a mean old teacher, MS. GIRTH, and an imaginary cat that is in the corner of the first grade classroom.  A marble becomes a symbol of my courage.  As the years pass the dreams get worse and more vivid.  I snap at work one day.  I act crazy and imagine a huge cat chewing my hand off.  I also imagine Ms. Girth and some classmates from first grade watching.   Ms. Girth’s eyes become cat’s eyes.   The guilt from putting cats to sleep finally caught up to me as I go insane.  Next chapter starts a different dream.  The rest in short form.

PAUL HOOK tells MARK SCAPENHOUR (POV) about a secret website to contact in order to relieve him of nightmares.  Hook looses his daughter and learns you can’t buy your way out.  Next dream.

FRANK FURTIL (POV) tells his psychologist, DR. NOSALOT, about a haunted tree that he blames his problems on.  Furtil is consumed by the snigglers after he finds himself the problem.  Next Dream.

I (POV) meet a mad DOCTOR that creates aliens from body parts but they fail when their eyes turn yellow.  I realize doctor’s can’t work miracles.  Next dream.

I (POV) can’t move as big red ants eat me to the bones when a girlfriend is in a hot tub with CHUCK.  I die from the pain of being cheated on.  Next dream.

CHEECHA (POV), NAOMI, JEFFREY and INGRID have their minds slowly eaten away by little sparks called fan people all because of Jeffrey’s secret of selling his soul.  The evil secret ate away at all their minds.

Every story has a unique twist of horror.  At the end of each story the main characters discover some meaning about him/ herself through the horror they endure.
